Growing Deeper in Relationship

As Christians, it is crucial that we understand our place, our purpose, and our direction.  If we don’t have a clear and present understanding of our role, God will be limited in the depth of growth that He can give you, because He won’t be able to trust you with more

If God cannot trust you with what He has given you, He will not be able to grow through you to fulfill your destiny that you have been called to for this earth.  Your call is not limited on God, but limited on your obedience to God.  Your growth in your walk with Him will directly impact your growth for your area of responsibility in your local church.

God cannot use, and cannot trust, what He cannot flow through.  It doesn’t matter if you are the parking lot attendant or the Senior Minister; if He can’t trust you where you are, He can’t trust you for where He wants you to go.

The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17

What does this verse mean? It means He is already proud of you. And because He loves you too much to let you stay where you are, He expects more. Just as David did before the Lord, so too does God dance over us when we fall into alignment with His calling and His word.

And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus tells us in the great commission to Go unto all the World and teach.

Remember this: you are His delegate.

This means that what God has declared that you have authority over, you have authority over. Nothing is too hard or too difficult to accomplish when you rely on the Lord’s strength. You have HIS authority.
